More Blogger Blahs

Just a bit ago I b*tched (yeah, I know you are so shocked) to TGF about the lack of commentary received to a post from Tuesday, which admittingly was a hard topic but well written IMNSHO. She looked confused. I muttered some more and figured I just had to suck it up. As Heather says comments are like crack (it's in the comments folks), but sometimes that stuff is hard to score. TGF looks at me and says, "I've been going to your blog all the time and never saw this until just now!" She and I are blaming Bl*gger. More and more reasons get moving on getting my own website and hosting my own dang blog.

Sheesh.

hehehe, Blogger has been doing some funky stuff lately. In my other blogs I never really had many comments so I didn't think about it. Since the Nablopomo I'm getting a lot more comments than I'm used to... I love reading comments on other blogs, so now I understand why I spend so much time reading my own comments!

i keep thinking about moving to wordpress (an autoinstall option on my domain). i set wordpress up for min on her site and it seems pretty easy to use, plus isn't victim to frequent funky like here.

uh, weird, i said the same thing as TGF, what in the hell, how'd i miss that?! blogger posted an email post days later at the wrong time, but eh, as long as it gets there.

WP was really easy to set up and use but i couldn't figure out how to change the layout at all, like add a line of text someplace, whereas with blogger, i could make it do whatever easily. i *would* like blogger to add category support, but eh, laziness.

I am notsomuch in the Blogger camp, but laaaaaazy and really like to use my time more effectively, say bitching about how much I hate blogger. So, that's me.

JBeeky, I yearn to be more like you, but alas, I am engaged to a geek and am myself a perfectionist control freak so a web site is in the future.

I like Typepad. Their support is good and I haven't had trouble with slow or missing things.

There is also vox.com, which is more limited and free, but easier to use.
